• AKP hires rapist as village guard 

  The Turkish state hired a man with a criminal record for sexual harassment and rape when nobody else accepted to be a village guard in Saraçlı village in Iğdır’s Aralık district.
• HPG announces the balance sheet of war for two years 

  HPG Press Office announced the balance sheet of war for two years for the period from 24 July 2015 to 23 July 2017.
• One hand handles the arm, the other the first aid kit

  Trustee Osman Doğramacı of Van's Gürpınar district had the 'Welcome' signboard, with Kurdish, English and Turkish inscription "Hoş geldin, Bi xêr hatin and Welcome" on it, removed and replaced it with a signboard captioned in Turkish and Arabic.
• YBŞ commanders Bawer and Amed laid to rest in Mount Shengal 

  YBŞ commanders Amed Kawyan (Mehmet Mendalioglu) and Bawer Şengal (Enver Xêro Xidir Mîrza) who fell martyrs on the 21st July in Shengal's Sikiniyê village, were interred at the Şehîd Dilgeş and Şehîd Berxwedan Cemetery of Martyrs in Shengal.

  YBŞ fighters Amed Kawyan and Bawer Şengal lost their lives as result of a mine explosion in Shengal region.
• Village guards lay down arms after the murder of a civilian 

  4 village guards have laid down arms in protest at the murder by state forces of a civilian in Gever (Yüksekova) district of Hakkari.
• Afghan refugee flow to Van continues  

  Afghan refugees continue to flow into the Van province. Hundreds of young refugees aged 15 to 21 have been sleeping in the Van Central Bus Station for days.
• Iranian regime forces attack kolbers at Urmia border 

  Iranian border guards have once again attacked the kolbers at the Urmia border.

  HPG guerrillas carried out an action on the 50 vehicle military convoy en route from Gever to Şemdinli. One armored vehicle was destroyed in the action and at least 9 special operations units members were killed.
