Success of the third Rojbîn Women's Festival

The message underlined the importance of this festival which "gives women an opportunity to share their political, cultural, political and social messages."

The 3rd Rojbîn Women's Festival, organized in Paris by the French Kurdish Women's Movement (TJK-F), saw the enthusiastic participation of Kurdish and French women.

The festival opened with a speech by Şengül Karaca, one of the TJK-F spokeswomen.

Then the message by Komalen Jinen Kurdistan Coordination (KJK) was read.

The message underlined the importance of this festival which "gives women an opportunity to share their political, cultural, political and social messages."

The message also stressed the importance of "improving the unity and integrity of differences through such activities, bringing together diversity, colors and voices which will serve the construction of the women's democratic confederalism system."

Danielle Simonnet, co-coordinator of the French Left Party told the women that the party will continue to work in solidarity with Kurds.

Then it was time for music and traditional dance with Govend group, Meral Alkan, Deniz Deman, Xece Yaşar, Ruken Newa and Dilana Rojarya and Pınar Aydınlar.

A special place was dedicated to children.

Stands by FEDA, Heyva Sor and Kurdish literature and political books were much visited as was the flower stand in solidarity with agricultural workers in Rojava hit by the fires provoked by the Turkish state.
