The General Command of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) issued a statement to "strongly" condemn what it called a "cowardly terrorist attack" that targeted worshipers at St. Elias Church in the Dweila neighborhood of Damascus.

The statement said: "We extend our deepest condolences to the families of the martyrs, express our solidarity with all those affected, and wish a swift recovery to the wounded.

This heinous terrorist attack targets all Syrian communities that cherish freedom and peace. Terrorism poses a threat to all Syrians and remains a common enemy of the nation’s diverse and unified social fabric."

The SDF "reaffirms its unwavering commitment to combating terrorism in all its forms and expresses its full readiness to contribute to any collective Syrian effort aimed at eradicating terrorism in all regions of Syria."
