Warning action by guerrillas against dam construction in Amed

People’s Defence Forces (HPG) Press Office has reported in a statement which appeared on its official website that the aerial activity of the Turkish military has increased over the guerrilla areas and gave the following information regarding the drone activities:
-Over Kandil region of Medya Defence Zones at between 21: 00, 6 July and 18:00 7 July,
- Over Heftanin area at between 11:00, 6 July and 16:00, 7 July,
-Over Zap region at between 21:00, 6 July and 11:00, 7 July,
-Over Metina area at between 01:00 - 04:00 on 8 July,
- Over Yayladere area in Nazimiye district of Dersim, over Martyr Xebat, Peri Valley, Sarıyaylabaran areas of Kewê and over Çevlin area of Pülümür at between 03:30 - 09:30 on 8 July,
-Over Martyr Baran area of Farqin district of Amed at between 22:00, 6 July and 01:30, 7 July.
HPG further reported that Turkish war planes also carried out flights over Xakurke, Avashin areas and Zap region of Medya Defence Zones at between 15:30 - 17:00 on 7 June. Sikorksy type helicopters carried out flights over Martyr Brusk area of Amed and Piran district at between 11:00 - 12:30 on 7 July, added the HPG.
Recalling that the Turkish army continues the construction of the dam in Farqin (Silvan) district of Amed despite the continued warnings of the guerrillas, HPG said that the guerrillas carried out a warning action at 08:00 on 7 July, targeting 2 armoured vehicles of the Turkish army, one of which has been left out of use while the other was severely damaged.
