A delegation consisting of Democratic Regions Party (DBP) co-chair Keskin Bayındır, Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) Central Executive Committee (MYK) member Serhat Eren, DEM Party deputies Saliha Aydeniz, Gülcan Kaçmaz and Mehmet Kamaç has been having meetings in North-East Syria for five days.
The delegation participated in the Kurdish Unity and Common Stance conference held in Qamishlo on Saturday and continues its talks with various parties. On Monday, the delegation met with officials from the Democratic Union Party (PYD), the Kurdistan Democratic Party-Syria (PDK-S), the Qamishlo Municipality, the Yazidi Union, and the Kurdish National Council in Syria (ENKS).
Today, the delegation visited the office of the Syrian Democratic Council (MSD) in Qamishlo, welcomed by MSD Co-Chair Leyla Qereman, MSD Cizre Foreign Relations Office Co-Chair Hisên Ezam, MSD Public Relations Office Co-Chair Hesen Mihemed Elî, and MSD Presidential Council Member Diyala Henan.
The “Rojava Kurdish Unity and Common Stance Conference” held in Qamishlo on April 26 was discussed during the meeting.
The DEM Party-DBP delegation emphasized the importance of Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan’s “Call for Peace and a Democratic Society” on February 27.
