The town of Sinjar, where HPG and YJA Star guerrillas have protected the people from ISIS massacre since 3 August 2014, has been covered with photographs of the PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan.
The photographs of Öcalan have been placed at many points in the Sinjar area upon the demand of local people who say; “The people of Sinjar were saved by our Leader Apo.”
The large photographs of Öcalan have been placed in the areas of Kersê and Qaa at the foot of the Mount Sinjar.
