Burkan Al- Fırat Operation Room stated that the liberation of Girê Spî is the victory of humanity’s will and conscience against barbarism and terror. The Operation Room congratulated all peoples in the region who long for freedom on the victory in Girê Spî.

After its participation in the operation that liberated Girê Spî from ISIS gangs, Burkan Al- Fırat stated that the victory was a result of people’s union and solidarity.

The Operation Room reminded its earlier promise to free civilians from ISIS oppression all across the region, and said that the liberation of Girê Spî shows the group’s dedication. The Operation Room emphasized its strategic alliance with YPG-YPJ and said that they would protect civilian lives and properties at all costs. The Operation Room ended its statement by saying that they would continue fighting for a democratic and just system in Syria.
