• Kurdish guerrillas kill seven Turkish soldiers in Hakkari 

  Seven Turkish soldiers were killed and a further two were wounded in Hakkari’s Semdinli district on Wednesday.

  Turkey arrested Kurdish author Mirza Kurt on Friday for his posts on social media.
• Turkey looking for village guards to fight for 300 Liras a day 

  The village guards in Şırnak city center and districts were offered 300 Liras a day to participate in the attacks against Afrin. Many of the guards rejected the offer.
