The hearing of Cumhuriyet daily editor in chief Can Dündar and Ankara Representative Erdem Gül related with their report on “MIT trucks delivering arms to ISIS in Syria” resumed in Istanbul Courthouse today.
While the court gave a break before the announcement of the decision, Can Dündar was targeted by an attempt of armed attack outside the Courthouse.
Dündar survived the failed attempt without an injury but NTV reporter Yağız Şenkal who was near him at the time of the attack got slightly injured.
The assailant who called Dündar “traitor” during his failed attempt got detained.
