On Wednesday, the SDF (Syrian Democratic Forces) Commander-in-Chief, Mazloum Abdi, met with a committee formed by Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa to complete the agreement between the Syrian Administration and the Syrian Democratic Forces.
According to the SDF Press Center, the meeting was attended by Rohlat Afrin, a member of the General Command of the Women's Protection Units (YPJ), along with Hussein Salama, head of the Syrian Administration’s committee, and other representatives from both sides.
Discussions focused on exchanging views and establishing working mechanisms for the joint committees, which are set to begin operations at the start of April.
Additionally, the meeting addressed the Constitutional Declaration, emphasizing the necessity of ensuring that all Syrian components have a role in shaping the country’s future and drafting its constitution. The discussions also underscored the importance of a ceasefire in all Syrian territories.
