Spokesperson Celile Özen said that they were going to send aid to Kobanê people in need of help during the press conference, and called on everyone to support their aid campaign.

Özen highlighted the importance of Kurdish people’s union, and said that they would support their brothers and sisters as much as they can. Özen thanked everyone who participated in the campaign, and said that the 3 thousand 500 TL mothers had raised would be send to the peoples of Kobanê.

Mardin Peace Mothers spokesperson Emriye Ektiren also spoke during the meeting and said that they would not be celebrating tomorrow’s Eid holiday. Ektiren said that martyrs’ bodies that come into North Kurdistan prevent mothers from enjoying and celebrating holidays like Eid.
