Kurdish women living in Europe continue their protests for Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan’s freedom.
Kurdish women organized a protest for Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan’s freedom in Germany’s Hamburg city.
Protestors led by Rojbin Women’s Assembly gathered in Jungfernstieg, demanded Öcalan’s freedom, and condemned the Turkish state’s isolation and occupation policies. Hundreds of pamphlets were distributed and Germany’s collaboration with the Turkish state was criticized during the action.
The protest ended with the slogans "Women, life, freedom" and "Freedom to Öcalan, peace to Kurdistan."
RENNES
A weekly protest was organized in Rennes, France for Öcalan’s freedom. Women led by Zin Women’s Association in Place de la Mairie organized a sit, in which National Solidarity Committee with Kurdistan and Peace Party Movement also participated.
Pamphlets in Kurdish and French were distributed, and women emphasized that their protests would continue every Wednesday.
BASEL
Ronahî Women’s Assembly organized a vigil in Basel, Switzerland for Sakine Cansız, Fidan Doğan and Leyla Şaylemez massacred in Paris, France. Protestors distributed pamphlets and the photos of the 3 women were carried during the vigil.
