Fahrettin Keskin, father of female prisoner Yıldız Keskin, spoke to ANF and stated that three cells have been burnt completely and the roofs of these have collapsed. Keskin said the prison administration does not provide them with any information regarding the situation of inmates.
Keskin reported that female prisoners have set fire to three separate cells where are they are held in protest at the pressures that have remarkably increased since the declaration of state of emergency in July.
Families of the prisoners in burning cells are awaiting news from the prison administration regarding the situation of their children.
