83-year-old Peace Mother detained in Amed
Amed Peace Mothers' Assembly member Dılşah Özgen (83) was detained in Diyarbakır Courthouse where she had been summoned to testify. She was later taken to Kocaköy Gendarmerie Command.
Amed Peace Mothers' Assembly member Dılşah Özgen (83) was detained in Diyarbakır Courthouse where she had been summoned to testify. She was later taken to Kocaköy Gendarmerie Command.
Amed Peace Mothers' Assembly member Dılşah Özgen (83) was summoned to Diyarbakır Courthouse within the scope of the investigation launched against her on grounds of sending a container to the 'Martyr Amed u Martyr Hevidar Cemetery' in Amed's Lice district one week ago. Özgen went to the court to testify and she got arrested there on order of the prosecutor. She was later taken to Kocaköy Gendarmerie Command.
It has been learned that Peace Mother Özgen donated a container to the 'Martyr Amed u Martyr Hevidar Cemetery' where her son, PKK member Ferdi Özgen is also buried.
Özgen is reported to be suffering some health problems such as diabetes, high tension, chronic disease and difficulty in breathing.
