• People of Afrin prepare for winter in tents and ruins 

  The people of Afrin who have moved to Shehba to continue their resistance there due to genocidal attacks by the invading Turkish state are preparing for winter in the tents and ruins they settled in.
• Rojava University conference starts 

  The conference for universities and academies in Northern and Eastern Syria has started. TEV-DEM Diplomacy Officer Aldar Xelîl spoke in the conference and said they have resisted invasion while building a new system during the revolution.
• At least 15 ISIS members killed in Operation Cizire Storm 

  The offensive “Cizire Storm" against the last ISIS structures in the east of Syria continues. The SDF reports that at least 15 jihadists have been killed in the most recent battles.
• YPG: Three invaders killed in Afrin 

  From 16-17 October, a Turkish soldier and two terrorists were killed in Afrin.
• Thousands rally in Heseke for Afrin and Öcalan 

  A demonstration was staged in Heseke in protest at the isolation of Öcalan and Turkish occupation of Afrin.
• “Erdogan’s threats against Manbij are a message to the US” 

  Politician Mihemed Hiwêdî said he is afraid the gangs the Turkish state supports will seek revenge against him because the acts together with the regime. Hiwêdî stressed that Erdogan’s threats against Manbij are a political message for the US.
• Water levels down in Tabqa Dam due to Turkey’s policies 

  Engineer Mihemed Shexo said water levels in the Tabqa Dam have fallen significantly due to the Turkish state cutting off the flow of the Euphrates River, and power is provided for shorter hours in the region.
• YPG: 6 terrorists killed in Afrin, 5 others wounded 

  YPG forces continue their actions against the occupation forces in Afrin.
• Raqqa on the way to a new future 

  For Raqqa, the ISIS occupation meant the dawn of a time of atrocities and oppression. With the liberation of the city last year under the leadership of the YPJ, a period of self-organization and emancipation began.
• 12 ISIS members killed in Operation Cizire Storm 

  The offensive against the ISIS in Northeast Syria continues. Within the past 24 hours, the SDF units have advanced further, killing 12 Islamists.
• Call for the people of Afrin: Mind the gangs’ plans to pillage 

  Afrin Canton Assembly Co-chair Mistefa Hesen said the Turkish state gangs demand the deeds to land and property from the people of Afrin and warned the people that the gangs who have the documents will confiscate all homes and lands.
• Shahoz Hesen: Syrian regime must abandon the language of threats 

  PYD Co-chair Shahoz Hesen pointed out that the Syrian regime still threatens the peoples in a hegemonic system thinking: “These threats won’t alleviate the pain of the Syrian peoples. The dialogue for political and democratic solution must continue."
• Turkish forces and allied gangs attack Manbij 

  Turkish mercenaries attacked the positions of Manbij Military Council fighters.
• MSD: Language of threats won’t resolve the crisis 

  MSD protested the Syrian Foreign Minister Velid Muallim’s comments that their target after Idlib will be the east of the Euphrates  and stressed that the language of threats won’t resolve the crisis, and is preventing dialogue.
• Sabotage action in Sherawa by YPG: 4 dead 

  YPG fighters have carried out a sabotage action against invading gang forces in the Sherawa district of Afrin. At least 4 gang members were killed in the action.
• Gangs attack Shehba villages and vicinity of dam 

  Gangs under the Turkish state are attacking Shehba’s Umhosh, Hirbil and Sheikh Isa villages and the vicinity of the Shehba Dam with heavy weapons positioned in Mare. Two mortar shells have struck the gang positions.
• International Peace Mothers visited Rojava 

  The International Peace Mothers delegation visited Rojava where it made a number of visits. 
• “We will liberate Afrin from invaders” 

  New recruits of the YPG said their primary goal was to liberate Afrin from invaders.
• School Year opens in Sherawa and Shehba 

  School year opened for Afrin children in the regions of Shehba and Sherawa where kids and their families have been forced to resettle after the Turkish invasion
• New clinic to open in Hawl refugee camp 

  The Health Directorate of the Hasakah self administration confirmed a new clinic will open in Hawl refugee camp.
• Raqqa pumping station working at full scale 

  The city of Raqqa was liberated by the Syrian Democratic Forces one year ago.
• New camp to open for people of Afrin 

  Afrin People’s Municipality is preparing to open a new camp in the Ziyaret village of the Sherawa district.
• 800 ISIS members from 46 countries imprisoned in Rojava 

  Cizire Canton Foreign Relations Council Co-chair Dr. Abdulkerim Omer pointed out the gang members held by the YPG/YPJ and the SDF: “We have some 800 ISIS members as of now. There are also 584 women and 1248 children in the camps.”
• One mercenary involved in the invasion of Afrin killed 

  Another mercenary that took part in the invasion of Afrin has been killed.
• Important projects for women’s economy 

  The Women’s Committee under the Hesekê Economy Directorate has developed several projects to develop women’s economy in the region.
