Jinen Ciwanên Azad (Free Young Women) members staged a demonstration in Swedish capital Stockholm calling for a boycott against Turkey.
Carrying a banner which read “Boycott Turkey”, the Kurdish youth handed out leaflets informing about the war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by the Turkish state.
Demonstrator Sitak Urmiye said they condemn the Turkish state’s invasion of Afrin and massacres it has perpetrated in North and South Kurdistan. Urmiye called on the Swedish people to boycott Turkish goods and not to holiday in Turkey.
Urmiye remarked that Swedish people oppose the Turkish regime’s rights violations, saying; “They come to us and ask for leaflets. They say they are against Erdoğan’s policies.”
Jinen Ciwanen Azad stated that they will expand their “Boycott Turkey” campaign.
