• YBŞ commemorates three commanders on the anniversary of their martyrdom 

  Shengal Resistance Units (YBŞ) Command commemorated the first anniversary of the martyrdom of Dindar Avesta, Çiya Feqir and Piran Pir, in an air raid carried out by the occupying Turkish state a year ago.
• HPG pays tribute to guerrillas Asrîn Bawer, Xwînda Çiya and Rustem Serhed 

  Asrîn Bawer and Xwînda Çiya were militants of the "Jin Jiyan Azadî" philosophy, Rustem Serhed joined the guerrillas from Europe. The guerrillas fell in August in the Xakurke region of South Kurdistan.
• YRK reports Turkish air strikes on Asos 

  Turkish fighter jets bombed the Asos Mountains in the Iraqi-Iranian border area, causing damage to the property of the local population.
• Turkey attacks Maxmur Camp again

  Community Peacemaker Teams Iraq said in a report that at least 81 children have been killed in attacks by the Turkish state in South Kurdistan since 1991.

  Guerrillas Navdar Firat, Dilovan Sîpan and Bager Çiya were killed in the southern Kurdish region of Heftanîn in 2019. The HPG paid tribute to their fight against the Turkish state and ISIS.

  The father of Jina Mahsa Amini, who was murdered by the Iranian police in custody two years ago, announced that they will organise a commemoration ceremony on Sunday.
• Central rally in Amed on 13 October to demand “Freedom for Abdullah Öcalan” 

  The Platform of Democratic Institutions announced that a central rally will be held in Amed (Diyarbakır) on 13 October to demand the freedom of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan.
• KNK: All MIT officers and agents involved in Bülbün killing must be brought to justice 

  A year ago, KNK representative Deniz Cevdet Bülbün was shot dead in South Kurdistan, and two of those involved in the killing were sentenced to life imprisonment. The KNK demanded that the MIT officials responsible be punished.
• HPG: 1 Turkish soldier killed, 2 army positions destroyed 

  The Turkish Air Force has bombed guerrilla areas in South Kurdistan over thirty times since Tuesday. The guerrillas are continuing their resistance and have destroyed enemy positions. One soldier was killed and others were injured.
• Iranian forces arrest mother of slain protester ahead of uprising anniversary 

  Over the past week, at least 18 Kurdish civilians have been detained in Iran as the anniversary of the ‘Jin, Jiyan, Azadi’ uprising in 2022 approaches.
• Bayindir: The government continues to implement the coup mechanism in Kurdistan 

  DBP Co-Chair Keskin Bayındır said, “The AKP-MHP government continues to implement the coup mechanism in four parts of Kurdistan instead of finding a solution to the problem and a democratic constitution.”

  Political parties, civil society organisations and human rights activists from Eastern Kurdistan called for a general strike on the anniversary of Jina Amini’s murder.
• ‘The people of Maxmur will not give up their resistance’ 

  Following the Turkish drone attack on the Maxmur refugee camp in northern Iraq, the people of the self-governing camp have demonstrated their resistance. ‘We will not give up’, said Filiz Budak, co-chair of the Maxmur People's Council.
• At least 9 civilians killed after Ankara-Baghdad-KDP agreement

  Erbil Criminal Court sentenced two suspects who murdered Deniz Cevdet Bülbün to life imprisonment.

  In the guerrilla actions carried out in Metîna and Xakurkê, 3 invading Turkish soldiers were killed and 2 attack helicopters were damaged.
• Three women injured in Turkish bombing of Maxmur Camp 

  Three women were injured when the occupying Turkish state targeted a house in the Martyr Rustem Cûdî Refugee Camp (Maxmur).
• Two disabled brothers sentenced to prison, one detained in Eastern Kurdistan 

  The Iranian state sentenced two disabled brothers to nearly seven years in prison in Pîranşar, Eastern Kurdistan, and detained a young man in Silênî village of Sewlawa.
