YPJ supports the 'Operation to Avenge Êzidî Women'

YPJ Official Spokeswoman Nesrîn Ebdullah expressed support to the Operation to Avenge Êzidî Women launched by YJŞ forces, saying they are ready to fight together with YJŞ.

Women's Defense Units (YPJ) Official Spokeswoman Nesrîn Ebdullah released a statement regarding the 'Operation to Avenge Êzidî Women' which was launched by Shengal Women's Units (YJŞ) on November 12.

The statement released on YPG website said that:

"We salute the 'Operation to Avenge Êzidî Women' launched by YJŞ forces for the liberation of Êzidî women on November 12. This operation has a great meaning as thousands of Êzidî women are suffering daily torture and death under the captivity of ISIS terrorists.

Especially with the offensive we launched for the women of Raqqa, this operation started by YJŞ forces is of great value and manifests the fact that Kurdish women are acting for the same goal and purpose.

In August 2014, we supported our comrades in Shengal as a historic mission and now we are ready to fight and struggle together with the YJŞ forces."
