Women of Raqqa say no to gender-related violence

Dozens of women joined the action. The statement was read by Meryem El-Ebo, who reminded that "women got together on 23 July and began to resist. We will resist to protect our achievements. No to the Turkish state occupation. No violence against women."
El-Ebo said that this action is the first of many that will be organised on different issues, such as war, child marriage, drug and ISIS.
The initiative, said El-Ebo will continue until 25 November, International Day of Struggle Against Violence Against Women.
