Woman employees in municipalities in Rojava's Cizîrê Canton have started a march to protest the isolation of Öcalan and appointment of trustees to municipalities in North Kurdistan.

Woman employees in municipalities in Rojava's Cizîrê Canton have started a march from Qamishlo to Amûdê to protest the aggravated isolation of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan and the seizure of DBP-held municipalities in North Kurdistan through the appointment of trustees.

The woman demonstrators that started their march from Qamishlo's Himo village are wearing white T-shirts bearing Öcalan's image, and carrying a banner reading "Freedom for Öcalan".

Demonstrators will make a statement to the press once they reach Amûdê.
