The General Command of Women's Defense Units (Yekîneyên Parastina Jin, YPJ) has announced the names of two of their fighters who fell in Resistance of Honor against the Turkish genocidal campaign seeking to invade North and East Syria.
YPJ commemmorated all the martyrs of the revolution and the Resistance of Honor in the person of the two fighters, Ronahî Gewda and Sara Tîrêj, and promised to keep their struggle going.
“The Resistance of Honor against the invasion of the Turkish army and mercenaries continues. Committed to defending the values of humanity, women are resisting the fascism of Erdoğan as they have resisted ISIS. Comrades Ronahî and Sara stood against the Turkish state’s invasion attacks with great commitment and determination.”
YPJ said that the martyrs strengthened their belief in victory and stressed that they were ready to make any sacrifice to honor the memory of their martyrs.
