Bodies of two women shot to death were found on Adana-Mersin highway Monday.

The dead bodies of the two women were noticed by lorry driver Selam Savun, who was on the way from Mersin to Hatay, near the Karahisalı toll bar on Adana-Mersin highway early in the morning.

The police units that came to the scene after being informed by the lorry driver stated following an initial examination that one of the women had been shot in the head and the other in the chest and leg.

While the women didn't have their ID cards on them, their bodies have been taken to Adana Forensic Medicine Institution for autopsy.
