KCDK-E calls for joint resistance against violence against women

KCDK-E greeted the resisting women on the occasion of 25 November and pointed out that the Turkish state and ISIS mentality is a threat to women.

The European Kurdish Democratic Society Congress (KCDK-E) co-presidency Council greeted women on 25 November, International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women with a written statement reminding that "the Mirabal sisters cry against violence continues to grow thanks to resististance of women."

In the statement, the women's revolution in Rojava was greeted, recalling that women are subjected to massacre, rape and violence in the nation-dominated nation-state system.

The statement emphasized that women have increased their resistance all over the world and underlined the importance of joint struggle.

The statement commemorated Hevrin Xelef who was murdered by the mercenaries of ISIS, revitalized by the games of foreign nation states that only look at their interests with a male mentality.

KCDK-E said: "Against all these threats of capitalist barbarism, the resistance of women all over the world, and especially in Kurdistan, continues."
