KBDH: Women should raise their voice against violence

Calling on all women to reclaim their right to life on 25 November, the KBDH said in a written statement: "We should raise our voices more than ever against harassment, rape and violence against women."

The Women's United Revolutionary Movement (KBDH) Europe issued a written statement on the increasing violence of women to mark the activities to be organised until 25 November, International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. The statement underlined that more reaction should be given to the sexist, traditionalist and moralist understanding that feeds the patriarchal system.

The statement added: "We must raise our voices more than ever before against occupiers and labor exploitation, against harassment, rape and violence against women. Women are being killed in every part of the world.”

The statement continued: “The rulers reward women murderers with impunity. We will not beg anyone for justice. We call on all women to establish an order in which women are equal partners in power and own law of equality and freedom. We urge all women to embrace our campaign against the colonial power and the AKP-MHP male-dominated capitalist, fascist government in Turkey and Kurdistan

We will defeat fascism; we will achieve women's freedom! We call on all workers and young women to join the women's revolution and women's rebellion against sexist policies over the female body, the exploitation of women's work, war, genocide attacks against the Kurdish people and women! Let's meet at the stands to be opened to mark 25 November and reclaim our life."
