The European Kevana Zêrîn Movement held its second congress at the Democratic Kurdish Community Center in Cologne with the slogan "Jin Jiyan Azadî".

Politicians living in exile, women artists who are members of TEV ÇAND, and women representatives from Kurdish institutions operating in Europe attended the congress.

The congress was dedicated to martyr Şoreş Arjîn

The congress, organized in memory of Bêrîtan Hêvî, one of the symbolic figures of the Women's Freedom Struggle, and the pioneer cadre women who fell as a martyr in October, was dedicated to Koma Awaz member Şoreş Arjîn who fell a martyr in the Media Defense Areas.

Medya Botan gave a speech on behalf of Kevana Zêrîn. Botan said: "The struggle of Kurdish women to protect their cultural identity and against assimilation is of great importance, especially in a period when conflicts in the Middle East are intensifying and are interpreted as World War III. Kurdish women are currently waging a strong struggle to protect their identity and against assimilation under the conditions of World War III. In this resistance. The struggle's memories of the pioneering female cadres who fell as martyrs in October are being kept alive, and their organization is being strengthened through their struggle."

Medya Botan said that while a disproportionate war process is taking place in the Middle East, the Turkish state is continuing this process as genocide against the Kurdish people and women, and added: "Both physical and cultural annihilation attacks continue in Rojava, Shengal and North Kurdistan. Kurdish women, in their struggle to protect their cultural values ​​and their identities, condemn these attacks and resist with determination to defeat the genocidal mentality. The women's movement will carry out this struggle with great experience and solidarity. It has the determined experience and expertise to resist these threats."

Name change was made

The new statute presented to the delegates at the congress was accepted by vote after a healthy discussion.

The name change was also presented to the delegates for discussion. The name Kevana Zêrîn was changed to Tevgera Çand û Hunera Mizgîn; in short, "Hunera Mizgîn" (Mizgîn Women’s Culture and Art Movement) by unanimous vote.

Later, the 19-person coordination members of the Mizgîn Women’s Culture and Art Movement were elected. The congress continued with discussions of new plans.
