DBP Silvan District co-chair Amine Gündüz was stopped on Wednesday by military at a check-point while traveling from Amed city center to Silvan.

Gündüz was taken to Bismil Courthouse. She was then taken into custody in the course of the interrogation.

Gündüz was accused of “helping an illegal organisation” and was then formally arrested and taken to Diyarbakır E-type Prison.
