ANF reporters talked to Arab fighters in the ranks of the Women’s Defense Units (YPJ). Some of the interviewed group of fighters are sisters and lost their brothers who fell as martyrs in the ranks of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
“We joined the YPJ to defend our homeland, to defend ourselves,” say the fighters who became a part of the resistance against ISIS after the terrorist organization destroyed the lives of the people living in the region.
