30 female recruits started their military training in Martyr Rojhat Academy on Saturday.

In a ceremony to mark the beginning of the training cycle YPJ commander Beritan Sedade delivered a speech to the female recruits.

The training cycle will last 45 days and the recruits will take basic military training as well as ideological lessons.

After the speeches the ceremony ended with Kurdish traditional dances.
