YPG commander called Russia to show a clear stance against Turkey

YPG Commander General Sîpan Hemo said the Kurdish forces won’t leave Turkish aggression against Efrîn unanswered and called on Russia to show a clear stance against Turkey.

People's Defense Forces (YPG) Commander General Sîpan Hemo stated that their forces have the strength and capability stop Turkish invasion in Efrîn.

"We always resist against invasion attacks of the Turkish state. The Turkish state intends to occupy Syrian soil. What we do is using our right of self-defense against occupation" Hemo said.

TURKISH STATE'S ATTACKS

According to Hemo, Til Rifet of Shehba is being used as an important coordination center by the Turkish supported gangs since its occupation.

He accused Turkish supported groups of trying to change the demography of Shehba. Hemo stated that hundreds of homes belonging to the Kurdish and Arab population have been razed to the ground.

Hemo also said that the gangs are targeting civilians in the area. He also insisted that the Revolutionary Forces (Jaysh al-Thuwar) continue their resistance against Turkish invasion.

RUSSIA'S POSITION

Sîpan Hemo commented also on Russia's position in the region. Hemo criticised Russia's weak reactions towards the Turkish invasion and called on Moscow administration to show a harder stance.

"Our forces respond fiercely to the attacks of the Turkish state's gangs. We have the strength to protect our regions on our own. If Russia does not comply with the attacks of the Turkish state, they need to show their stance in a right manner, as we on our part will act especially in Shehba in accordance with our agreement struck with Russia. It shall be clear to everyone that we will never let any attacks go unanswered" he said.
