The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) announced that ISIS attacked people collecting desert mushrooms in the Kebacib countryside, which is located in the south of Deir ez-Zor, and is under the Damascus administration. The Observatory stated that 18 people, including 4 "Dîfa Wetenî" soldiers, were killed in the attack. It was stated that 16 people were injured, and 50 people were missing.
SOHR reported that a conflict broke out between "Dîfa Wetenî" soldiers and ISIS mercenaries who responded to the attack. 12 vehicles were burned.
