The Press Liaison Centre of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) announced the identity information of two of its fighters who were martyred in the armed attack carried out by ISIS gangs against a military point in the city of Raqqa on 27 March 2024.   

According to the statement, fighting broke out as SDF fighters responded to the attack, after which a member of the mercenary group was wounded and captured. On the other hand, SDF fighters Basil Reqawî (Mihemed El Tamê) and Sultan Reqa (Îmad Mihemed El Erîf) lost their lives.

“We express our condolences to the families of both martyrs and our people. We emphasise once again that we will take revenge on the terrorist organization and cleanse our region from those who try to drag our region into peace and instability," SDF said.
