The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Press Center published the toll of the clashes following the attacks by the Turkish state and its Syrian National Army proxies.
The SDF statement said: "The occupying Turkish army and its proxies have been continuing their attacks on the regions of Northern and Eastern Syria for 3 months without interruption.
On the southern and eastern fronts of Manbij, on Wednesday, our fighters shot down a kamikaze drone belonging to the occupying Turkish state proxies in the northern countryside of the Tishrin Dam. In addition, our forces carried out an action against a group of gangs preparing for an attack. One gang member was killed in the action. On the other hand, the occupying Turkish army bombed the structures in the dam and the surrounding area with howitzers, causing material damage in the attack."
The statement continued: "On the Der Hafir front, our fighters thwarted the gangs’ attempt to enter the front and one gang was killed. The Martyr Harun Units also carried out an action against a point where gangs were located, and the number of gangs killed and injured in the action has not been clarified.
On the western front of Kobanê, Turkish warplanes bombed the hamlet of Munîr Hebîbî. The attack damaged vineyards and gardens belonging to civilians. The armed unmanned aerial vehicles (SIHA) activity of the Turkish state in the region continued throughout the day."
The statement added: "On the southern front of Qereqozax and Kobanê, Turkish warplanes bombed the villages of Xeseq and Melha in the south of Kobanê. The attack caused material damage. In addition, the villages of Melha, Xeseq, Dîkan, Bîr Hiso, Cada, Sina, Tina and the hills of Sêvê and Qereqozax were bombed by the invaders with howitzers and missiles.
In response to the attacks, our forces carried out an action against a group of occupying Turkish soldiers and gangs on the Qereqozax hill. One Turkish soldier was killed and four were injured during the action."
