49 people died in 37 attacks in "de-escalation zone" since the beginning of March, says SOHR

A Damascus army soldier died in an attack carried out by mercenaries affiliated with the Turkish state in the Idlib countryside. According to SOHR, 49 people have died in 37 attacks in the "de-escalation zone" since the beginning of March 2024.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said that 'El Fatah El Mubîn' mercenaries, linked to the Turkish state, carried out an attack targeting Damascus government forces in the village of Kersa in Jabal El Zawiyê in the south of Idlib.

SOHR said that one Damascus army soldier was killed in the attack.

It was reported that 'El Fatah El Mubîn' also bombarded the Ayn Issa region in the north of Latakia using missiles.

According to SOHR, 49 people have died in 37 attacks in the "de-escalation zone" since the beginning of March 2024.

Since the beginning of this year, 130 people have died and more than 56 people have been injured in 121 attacks.
