The European Socialist Women's Union (SKB) issued a written statement on May Day.
"On 1st May we will be in our streets and neighborhoods to shout our anger against the health policies of capitalism," the statement said, adding that social distance will be maintained.
The statement added: "Capitalist states allocated a budget to war and arms but have no money for health, leaving society and women facing a health crisis and thousands of dead."
The statement continued: "Although our unions cannot call workers to the squares [for masse demonstrations] on 1st May thay should be able to call on people to reclaim the streets of their neighborhoods in towns and cities. On 1st May we cannot remain silent."
