SDF reports ongoing attacks by the Turkish army and allied mercenaries

The Syrian Democratic Forces reported that the Turkish army and allied mercenaries continue their attacks against North-East Syria.

The Press Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) released the balance sheet of fighting in North-East Syria for the past 24 hours.

The SDF statement on Sunday includes the following:

“The aggression of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries on northern and eastern Syria has now entered its third month without achieving any territorial gains, thanks to the steadfast resistance of our fighters.

On Saturday, Turkish warplanes launched multiple airstrikes on the workers’ housing of Tishreen Dam, southeast of Manbij, and targeted the surrounding countryside with heavy artillery and mortar shells, causing material damage.

On the Deir Hafer front, clashes erupted between our fighters and the occupation’s mercenaries, resulting in several casualties among the mercenaries, though the exact number remains unknown.

Meanwhile, the villages of Al-Tina, Ja’da, Bir Hisso, Ghasq, Dekan, Melha, and Al-Sana’a, along with the Sayfi Hills and Qara Qozak Hill near the Qara Qwzaq Bridge, were subjected to indiscriminate shelling with heavy artillery, tanks, rocket launchers, and mortars. More than 30 shells were fired, causing significant damage to civilian homes and property.

Throughout yesterday, warplanes and UCAV continued to fly over Kobani, Ain Issa, and their surrounding countryside.”
