At least 18 Turkish-backed mercenaries were killed in actions carried out by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the autonomous region of North and East Syria on Friday. Eight of the mercenaries were eliminated in a retaliatory attack by the Women's Protection Units (YPJ) on the Qereqozax front.

The SDF balance sheet for the past 24 hours includes the following:

"For the third consecutive month, the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries have continued their attacks on northern and eastern Syria. In response, our forces have confronted these aggressions, inflicting heavy losses on the enemy’s ranks.

On the Qereqozax (Qara Qwzaq) front and in retaliation against occupation and its mercenaries, the Women’s Protection Units YPJ carried out an operation west of the Qara Qwzaq Bridge, targeting the mercenaries’ fortifications and gatherings. As a result, eight mercenaries were confirmed eliminated, and another was wounded. Additionally, our forces destroyed a radar system, a fortified position, and a surveillance camera belonging to the occupation. However, the occupation forces resumed their indiscriminate shelling of several villages, including Al-Tina, Ja’dah, Bir Hissou, Ghasq, Dekan, Melha, and Al-Sana’a, as well as the Sayfi Hill and Qara Qwzaq Hill, firing more than 80 shells. The bombardment caused significant material damage to civilian homes and properties.

On the Tishrin (Tishreen) Dam front, the Turkish occupation warplanes launched a series of air raids on the southeastern countryside of Manbij, coupled with relentless artillery shelling throughout the day and night, causing material damage to the targeted villages. Meanwhile, a group of occupation mercenaries attempted to advance toward the front lines of Abu Qalqal to attack our forces. At approximately 04:00 AM, as the mercenaries launched their attack on the vicinity of the Syriatel Hill, our fighters repelled them, leading to intense clashes. Six mercenaries were eliminated, and several others were wounded.

On another axis north of the Tishrin Dam front, our forces targeted a gathering of mercenaries, eliminating two mercenaries and destroying a motorcycle. When the mercenaries attempted to retrieve the bodies, their vehicle was successfully targeted, forcing the remaining mercenaries to flee.
Additionally, at approximately 03:00 PM, our Martyr Haroun Units successfully targeted and completely destroyed an armored military vehicle, resulting in the elimination of two mercenaries.
On Deir Hafer front, the Turkish occupation UCAVs continued to fly over the region throughout the day, and the occupation forces launched three suicide drone attacks against our positions. However, these attacks resulted in only material damage.

Yesterday, the total number of mercenaries eliminated had reached 18, with one additional mercenary wounded. In addition, our forces successfully destroyed two military vehicles—one of which was armored—as well as a motorcycle.
