Yılmaz Yavuz (48) was imprisoned in various jails for 30 years. He was released from Izmir Şakran Prison on Friday, after the completion of his sentence.

Yavuz, who has been held in Şakran Prison for the last 13 years, was welcomed in front of the prison by his family, the executives and members of the Aegean Assistance and Solidarity Association with the Families of Detainees and Convicts (EGE TUHAYDER).

Yavuz conveyed his greetings to the prisoners who remained in jail and set out for Manisa, where his family lives.

The release of Yılmaz Yavuz, who completed his sentence 3 months ago, was postponed because the Administrative Observation Board said he did not show "regret".
