Demos in support with Rojava held in five German cities

Kurds and their friends protested the invasion and genocide attacks carried out by the Turkish state against North East Syria in Bremen, Bonn, Frankfurt, Munich and Freiburg.

Activists also expressed solidarity with the resistance in Rojhilat Kurdistan.

BREMEN

The invasion and genocide attacks carried out by the Turkish state was protested with the action held in Bremen.

Kurds and their friends gathered at Bahnhof Vor Platz in a protest organised by the Defend Rojava Committee.

In these days of the year there are traditional "torch march of children" in Germany. In Bremen children marched with the slogan 'Let's burn our torches together to stop children dying in Rojava'.

The demonstration ended with a rally in front of the Parliament accompanied by slogans protesting the German state's arms sales to the Turkish state.

BONN

Rojava resistance and the popular resistance in Rojhilat Kurdistan were supported in an action in Bonn.

Kurds and their friends got together in Kaiser Platz when the demonstration started with a minute silence.

The speeches condemned the invasion of Rojava, demanded freedom for Abdullah Öcalan and called for national unity among the Kurdish people said. 

FRANKFURT

A rally was held in front of the HBF (main station) in Frankfurt to protest the invading Turkish army and mercenaries and their attacks against Rojava. 

MUNICH

In Munich, the Sara Women's Assembly and the PYD Munich opened an information stand to support the Honor Resistance carried out in Rojava.

Activists also called on people to boycott Turkish goods as well as holidaying in Turkey.

FREIBURG

The invasion and genocide attacks carried out by the Turkish state was protested with a rally in Freiburg.

Kurds and their friends gathered in Alte Synagoge Square, chanting slogan in support to the resistance in Rojava.
