Baghdad: Local chief and front-line leaders of ISIS in Iraq killed

The Iraqi Prime Minister announced that the local chief of ISIS was killed in an operation.

Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani announced on Tuesday that several ISIS leaders, including its local chief, had been killed in an operation.

The Joint Security Command said in a statement that counter-terrorism forces ‘killed nine terrorists, including Qassim al-Mazrawi, known as Abu Abdul Qadir’.

The statement said that the other eight were the ‘front-line leaders of ISIS.’
