YPG fighters from Bashur: KDP should not be a tool of Turkey

YPG fighters slammed the KDP, saying "The Turkish state is playing the Kurds against each other with its dirty policies".

Devran Diyana, who was inspired by the Rojava revolution and joined the YPG during the period when ISIS gangs occupied Serekaniye, reacted to the KDP's recent attacks against PKK guerrillas in Southern Kurdistan, Northern Iraq.

Diyana said: “Our people in South Kurdistan (Bashur) should be sensitive against the dirty policies of the KDP and the Turkish state. Parties such as Gorran and PUK in South Kurdistan should not remain silent at this point. The Turkish army wants to occupy our lands. Despite the invasion policies of the Turkish state, Barzani constantly leans towards the Turkish state. Barzani's approach is unacceptable. As the Kurdish people, we must show a common attitude towards the invaders and protect the spirit of national unity. The dirty plans of the Iraqi government and the KDP against Shengal are also unacceptable. Moreover, Leader Apo (Abdullah Öcalan) has been subjected to an aggravated isolation for more than 20 years. Our people must revolt against this isolation in four parts of Kurdistan. "

YPG fighter Hozan Kirkuk from the city of Kirkuk in South Kurdistan said: "I joined the YPG to defend my country Kurdistan from invasion. As a young person from South Kurdistan, I am fighting against colonialism in the ranks of the YPG. For a long time, the KDP has been cooperating with the Turkish invasion army and supporting it in its efforts to occupy areas in South Kurdistan. This policy of the Barzani family is not in the interest of the people of Bashur. It means nothing more than being a party to the occupation of all four parts of Kurdistan. KDP is attacking the guerrillas in Southern Kurdistan. When the peshmerga left Kirkuk to the ISIS and fled, it was indeed the guerrillas that fought shoulder to shoulder with the peshmerga who remained on the ground. An attack by the KDP on the guerrillas means nothing other than a fratricidal conflict. The Turkish state wants to have Kurds murdered by Kurds once again with this policy of extermination. We appeal to the KDP to abandon its treacherous line and see the reality. Our people should understand exactly that the Kurdish people can be liberated only through the unity of Kurdistan that has been divided by the imperialists. The KDP’s attacks on the Kurdish guerrillas undermine the common interest and causes a public outcry."

Addressing the youth of Kirkuk, Hozan Kirkuk said, "They should join the revolutionary ranks and fight against the invading forces in the spirit of national unity."
