Vigil in Shengal enters day 23

The vigil carried out by the people of Shengal and the Yazidi community continues on its 23rd day.

The tent action and vigil launched by the Shengal people, the Yazidi community and the Autonomous Administration institutions against the agreement signed by the Iraqi and South Kurdistan governments targeting Shengal continues with new participation.

The action continues with the slogan "We are all asayish" ("We are all public order forces") and has entered its 23rd.

"We will resist the dirty plans"

The people of Shengal continues to visit the tent resistance area in groups to reiterate their support and claim the action. The people stated that they will continue their actions until their demands are accepted.

Reyhan Xıdır, Representative of Digor Women's Assembly, said: "Our action to claim the Êzidxan Asayish is continuing for 23 days. But so far we have not received any response to meet our demands. We are not going to give up and will resist this dirty plans against our people."
