Turkish military activity continues in North Kurdistan

According to the statement, Turkish troops carried out a bombardment from the Mamreş hill in Şemdinli district of Hakkari at 13:30 – 14:00 yesterday. The attack with heavy weaponry targeted the Martyr Ronahi hill and surrounding areas.

HPG-BIM stated that Turkish troops and village guards launched an operation between Bespin and Gitê areas in Silopi district of Şırnak yesterday evening, while Turkish units also laid ambushes in Silibê, Girê, Gitê village, Girê Sor area and Deningê hamlet.

According to HGP-BIM, an intense military shipment has also been made to the Xapînokê and Tepe guard posts in Norşin and Mutki districts of Bitlis. Quoting local sources, HPG-BIM said the Turkish army has recently started another operation in Dêrxus town of Muş. Military shipment has also been made to Xaça Reş area in Mutki district of Bitlis as part of this operation.

On April 10, unmanned aerial vehicles of the Turkish army performed recoinassance flights over Haftanin border line and Kato Silê hamlet between 8 am and 5 pm.

An intense activity by Turkish UAVs and warplanes took place over Zap region of Medya Defense Zones at 00:00-01:00 today, and over Gare and Haftanin regions at 13:30–14:30.
