People of South Kurdistan to march against Turkish invasion

Protest marches will be held in 9 centers in Bashure (Southern) Kurdistan tomorrow under the lead of the National Front. The people will protest the Turkish state’s invasion attacks in the marches.

National Front members held a press statement in the Nali Park in Sulaymaniyah on the details of the demonstrations scheduled for tomorrow against Turkish state invasion attacks.

The statement said there will be 9 simultaneous mass marches tomorrow.

National Front Member Bekir Şêx Selam said there will be marches against the Turkish state invasion attacks in Hewler, Sulaymaniyah, Kirkuk, Kelar, Qeladize, Derbendîxan, Chamchamal, Ranya and Halabja, and called for participation.

PROTESTS AGAINST THE GOVERNMENT

Şêx Selam also protested the government’s silence in the face of Turkish state attacks and said, “The Iraqi and Kurdistan Regional Governments are ignoring the invasion. We must show a great reaction against the invasion attacks. We are calling on the people of Bashur, the shopkeepers, the workers, the women to participate in the marches tomorrow. We must stand against invasion attacks.”

The centers where the marches will be held are as follows:

Hewler: Şanedar Park at 18:00

Sulaymaniyah: From Saholeke to Baxê Giştî Park at 17:00

Kirkuk: Qela Park at 17:00

Chamchamal: Chermo University at 18:00

Qelar: Leyla Qasim School at 17:30

Ranya: Baxê Giştî at 17:00

The hours for marches in Halabja, Derbendîxan and Qeladizê are to be announced.
