HPG said that an intense activity of Turkish warplanes took place over Avashin region of Medya Defense Zones between 13:00 - 14:30 yesterday.
Turkish warplanes also flew over Haftanin region between 13:00 – 15:30, 12:30 - 15:00, 20:00 – 20:30 yesterday, and over Zap region between 02:00 – 02:30 and 04:00 - 04:30 today.
Skorsky type helicopters of the Turkish army were also involved in an intense activity around the Gülyazı Artillery Regiment of the Turkish military at the border to Haftanin between 05:00 - 12:00 yesterday.
Turkish UAVs also performed intense reconnaissance flights over Botan's Besta region from early 15 April morning to 17 April morning, and over the Zap region between 00:00 – 04:00 today.
On 16 April, Turkish troops deployed at Êriş guard post, which is located at the border to Zap region, carried out a bombardment with tanks at 17.30.
HPG remarked that Turkish army dispatched 100 armored vehicles and military ammunition to Lice and Kocaköy (Qaraz) districts of Amed yesterday.
