HPG pays tribute to YJA Star guerrillas who fell martyrs in Amed

In a written statement, HPG Press Liaison Centre (BIM) commemorated YJA Star guerrillas Amara Ronahi and Doğa Rizgar, who fell in Amed on 3 October.

The HPG BIM (Press Liaison Centre) said in a written statement commemorating YJA Star guerrillas Amara Ronahi and Doğa Rizgar: “On 3 October 2020, the invading Turkish army heavily bombed the Horselê area in Martyr Serxwebun area in Amed. On October 4, they began an invasion operation. This operation ended in the evening of 4 October. As a result of the bombardments and conflicts, our comrades Amara and Doğa fell as martyrs.

      Mother's - Father's Name: Muhsine - Yusuf

      Date and Place of Martyrdom: 3 October 2020 / Amed

      Name Surname: Eylem Moço

      Place of Birth: Amed

      Mother's-Father's Name: Aysel - Seyithan

      Date and Place of Martyrdom: 3 October 2020 / Amed

 

The statement added: "Our comrade Amara, originally from Kurtalan in Siirt, migrated to Batman at a young age and was born in a patriotic environment. She closely witnessed the assimilation and genocide policies implemented by the occupiers on the Kurdish people. Our comrade Amara, joined the Kurdistan Freedom Movement in 2003.

Our comrande Doğa was born in Amed in a patriotic family and was formed in a struggling environment. Aware of the fact that the only effective struggle against all genocide practices of the fascist Turkish state will be with the guerrilla ranks, she joined the freedom ranks."
