The statement said that unmanned aerial vehicles of the Iranian army carried out reconnaissance flights over Dola Kokê area in Kandil region of Medya Defense Zones between 4-6 am on 24 April.
Recalling that the Iranian army had started an operation in the rural area of Urmîye's Erbilan village on 22 April, HPG said that the Pasdaran (Revolutionary Guards) that retreated on the same day have lied low and laid ambushes in the village.
HPG stated that the Iranian army launched a large scale operation in the villages of Erbilan, Horebanê, Banê and Bêtirgê on 23 April, aiming to carry out raids and ambushes in guerrilla areas.
The statement added that the operation of the Iranian military was going on.
