The Middle East longs for democracy once again
If Iran is dragged into turmoil like Syria, there may be developments from which they cannot escape. For now, they will try to neutralize Iran and redesign the Middle East as they see fit.

The Israel-Iran war ended with Trump's final whistle. How final it is remains unclear. Israel and the US say that Iran will never be able to acquire nuclear weapons. This issue will always be a source of conflict and tension. Even if it doesn't happen, there are ways to present it to the world as if it did. Once upon a time, the US said that Iraq had chemical weapons. Saddam opened up all locations for inspection and no chemical weapons were found. But the US attacked anyway, claiming that they existed. After the war ended, they themselves announced that there were no chemical weapons. Of course, a lot had happened in the meantime. Iraq paid a heavy price, and Saddam was eliminated.
A strange war! Israeli and Iranian soldiers never encountered each other. They launched attacks across state borders. Israel struck Hezbollah, Hamas, and Syria primarily with technical and intelligence capabilities. It wanted to prevent military casualties as much as possible. Iran did the same. There was no chance of entering Iran by land anyway. There was no need for it either. The targets were nuclear facilities, missile bases, production centers, and strategic military bases. These were struck thanks to air superiority. Additionally, it can be said that the intelligence network was used to eliminate the military's command structure. It also killed scientists working in the nuclear field.
The US brought in weapons that no one else in the world has and used them in the service of Israel. Trump announced that nuclear facilities had been destroyed. He said that they had stopped the war in the morning as if they had held a fireworks display at a festival, and a ceasefire was declared. People are being made to feel as if a war has been fought.
Netanyahu thanks Trump. He says they will comply with the ceasefire because they have largely achieved their goals. All of this has been discussed and planned with the US. Iran does not have the power or technology to do more than what it has done. They reportedly agreed to at least a ceasefire to save the situation and stop the destruction.
As things stand, the US and Israel stated that they have achieved their goals. In other words, they say they have won the war. The Iranian government says that they have thwarted the plans, that they have not been crushed or subjugated, and that they are therefore the winners of the war. Iran needs to say this because the blows it has suffered are serious. Its air defenses have been rendered ineffective. The upper echelons of the military have been purged. Its charisma has been seriously damaged. Even the organizations and forces closest to it merely watched the attacks. Even a force like Hezbollah could not move against Israel. Israel had already rendered them ineffective and unable to move. The Hashd al-Shaabi and other Islamic organizations in Iraq were preoccupied with their own problems. To avoid becoming targets, they, so to speak, lied low.
Israel launched an unrestrained aggression after Hamas's attack. It did not take into account the reactions from around the world. The world's major powers, the US and Europe, supported it. It virtually wiped out the organizations that Iran had invested in and supported. It was clear that they would not leave Iran alone either. Iran could neither advance nor retreat. In fact, it had accepted the idea of withdrawing and leaving the area. However, they did not want to leave it alone; their goal was to break its influence. Iran found itself facing a war it did not want and was not prepared for.
The question that generally interests people is what will happen next. The war and developments are being followed to a greater or lesser extent, and many things are known and understood. There are also aspects that need to be clarified and discussed. Iran has been a target for a long time, not just now. But Iran assumed that it would be able to maintain its position by relying on the balance it had established in the region. Developments have surpassed these calculations, and Israel has increasingly taken the initiative. Powers such as the US and Europe have decided to redesign the Middle East in a way that ensures Israel's security. Iran has been left alone and cornered in the region. The dominant powers have had enough of Iran and have taken action.
The region has been engulfed in a fire. They have not limited themselves in the use of weapons and technology. Iran has also demonstrated what it had in hand. But the balance was heavily against Iran. Of course, the Iranian regime will not collapse immediately. They did not aim to overthrow the regime immediately. It is not that they do not want to. They are not sufficiently prepared. If Iran is dragged into turmoil like Syria, there may be developments from which they cannot escape. For now, they will try to neutralize Iran and redesign the Middle East as they see fit. There is no force among the Arabs to stand against this. Most of them have already signed the Abraham Accords. All of them will normalize relations with Israel.
Freedom, democracy, and the will of the people? These are not on the agenda of those in power. Iran itself is busy executing and suppressing its own citizens. The peoples within it are deprived of the right to even receive education in their mother languages. The US and Arab regimes have no concern for democracy. The states in question are not governed by democracy. Does the US want a democratic Middle East? No. Trump and other rulers are seeking to undermine democracy.
How will peace and democracy come to the Middle East? Through the ‘democratic nation’ resolution.
