The Press Center of the People’s Defense Forces (HPG-BIM) released a statement refuting some media reports, which includes the following:

“Some media outlets and virtual media accounts spread the news that the PKK placed a bomb on the main road in Sidekan sub-district. These reports are false news disseminated by a special war media.

Everyone, be friends or enemies, knows that our guerrilla forces will not make such an attempt against our people. Any attempt to create a distorted image of our movement with such fabricated news only serves provocative purposes. Such attempts that do not bring any benefit to the Kurdish people should be abandoned.

We want all our people and especially the people of the region not to give credit to such provocative fake news.”
