A committee from HPG and YJA-Star Kirkuk Command visited the mourning center set up in Sulaymaniyah for Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) Secretary General Jalal Talabani, and later visited Mam Jalal’s wife Hêro Îbrahim Ehmed. HPG and YJA-Star commanders read a condolence letter by PKK Executive Council Member Murat Karayılan to Hêro îbrahim Ehmed.

The HPG and YJA-Star delegation including HPG Kirkuk commanders Bawer Serhat, Botan Diren, Botan Amed and Cesur Jiyan and YJA-Star Kirkuk commander Nûheyla Siwerek were received by Hêro Îbrahim Ehmed. One of the HPG commanders who spoke at the visit, Bawer Serhat, stressed that Mam Jalal fought for the whole of Kurdistan and said, “His passing was a great loss for all of us.”

HPG and YJA-Star guerrillas later read the condolence letter PKK Executive Committee Member Murat Karayılan wrote to the Talabani family and Hêro Îbrahim Ehmed thanked the committee for their visit.
