Eastern Kurdistan Youth Organization member: Öcalan's health is our red line

KCR coordination member Tolhildan Zîlan warned that "no attack against Leader Öcalan will remain unanswered."

Tolhildan Zîlan, coordination member of the Eastern Kurdistan Youth Organization (KCR), said that the health and safety of Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan is a red line for them, and added that the Kurdistan invaders and conspirators are very much aware of this. Zîlan said: "Everyone should know that there is no life without our Leader."

Speaking to the ANF about the recent social media posts about the health and safety conditions of Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan, who has been kept in isolation for 22 years in Imrali F-Type High Security Prison, Tolhildan Zîlan pointed to the defeat of the Turkish state in Garê. “The fascist Turkish state has suffered a painful blow in political, economic and diplomatic terms as well as a military defeat. For this reason, it is now targeting Leader Apo [Öcalan].”

Our red line

Stating that the health and safety of the Kurdish people's leader is a red line for them, Zîlan said: “The occupiers of Kurdistan and the conspirators are aware that Leader Apo is the red line for the youth, the Kurdish people and the freedom movement. Everyone should know that there is no life without the Leader. Leader Apo's perspectives are instruction for young people. In this context, in case of a threat to Leader Apo's health and safety, we will target the strategic goals of the Turkish state."

They are trying to normalize pressure and threats

Reminding that such allegations about the Kurdish people's leader had circulated before, KCR coordination member Tolhildan Zîlan said: “The aim of this policy is to normalize all kinds of pressure and threats against Leader Apo's life. The Kurdish people and libertarian forces should not fall into this trap and see this situation as normal. A clear, appropriate and harsh response to such policy is needed. The youth should not ask for Leader Apo's freedom from any organization or state. Especially the youth of Eastern Kurdistan and Iran must be in the streets until a clear answer is received."
